Life.  Your life  needs a few essentials to survive: sunlight, water, air, food and shelter. Nothing more.  But your life has evolved, now, into a sophisticated living being.  Thus, your life must add an additional essential: studying.  When you are studying, you are learning, thinking, planning, creating, and accomplishing things.  Studying has made you into an educated living being.

You are educated!  “You study, study, study, and at the end, you are lucky enough to discover the greatest gift of education: that you know nothing at all.” @thisisEJKoh.  You know nothing at all about how complex your brain is, or how big your universe is; you know nothing about how you were created, or how many stars are there in the sky; you know nothing about what dreams really mean or why you exist; you know nothing about where you’ll go when you die.   You know nothing about what will happen in the next moment.   @thisisEJKoh, thank you for the quote!

A Story in a Single Image

A gift to us, to our being, this Earth;

Life, too, is a gift, know it’s worth.

Sun rays punch through the blue skies, everyday,

we bathe in its warmth, and so often, in it play.

Everything on this Earth – Mountain, land and seas,

Animals and trees; birds and the bees,

Each created to make this Earth complete.

Our gifts are most beautiful and rare,

So rare, we want to know if someone else, like us, exists out there.

Take a leap, jump for joy,

and this life, this gift, begin to enjoy!

People taking comfort in their connections!

Life is short and we must talk;

Don’t keep your emotions in a lock.

Love for each other is like a peaceful soothing song;

don’t wait for it to come because you’ll be waiting long.

Persons, animals and objects are all connected in the core, for sure;

explore these connections, it’s a source of happiness and cure;

Cure for hate, cure for unrest, cure for tears.

Our connections and our acceptance will give way to love;

Peace will prevail,

and away will fear sail.

One Earth, One Us … A simple thought.

One you, one me, one us on this one Earth!

The Creator crafted you and me with only surface deep differences.  Totally intentional and not a mistake.   That’s what I believe.

Religion, origin, nationality, culture, clothing, language, food.  Tall, short, thin, fat, skin color, facial features, ways of walking, talking, laughing and crying.  In those I differ from you.  I surely walk on my own life path, but not without crossing yours.  That’s how we meet.  You are different from me, but I notice that we are also the same.

I peek inside you, and me, and find oneness.  Warm blood that flows inside of me is the same blood that rushes inside of you.  It’s crystal clear to me that one we are!  All emotions I feel, you feel them too – Pain I bear, love I share.  Let’s respect and let’s care.  

Our differences teach me tolerance, patience, and kindness toward you, and toward me.  Our differences teach me to learn about you, and to learn about me.  Our differences guide me to listen better, help better, and accept better.  Our differences nudge me to explore ways to show you my love.  Our differences help me to love me.  It is in this state of teaching, learning, exploring, and loving that I feel the oneness between us and appreciate our differences.  

One you!  One me!  But one us. Feeling the same emotions! Flowing of the same blood! Breathing the same air!  Looking at the same sky! Sharing the same Earth!  One you, one me,  ONE US!  I insist!
