I have, recently, realized that I motivate people at my workout. And, I didn’t even know about it, until now. My workouts have been mainly for me. I do have to push myself! Every workout that I complete motivates me for the next one. I self-talk; I do that a lot. And, that helps me get to the gym, 99.9% of the time! I have become, what you would call, a “Regular” at the gym. And, that has motivated some gym goers. They have come up to me to tell me that. That really feels good.
This brings me to the next step, which I think involves my wanting to help others get motivated. Motivate them to not only workout, but create a sustainable routine for a healthy lifestyle.
My goal: To get certified in workout/healthy lifestyle field. I am writing this on my blog because I think this will keep me motivated to remain focused in achieving my goal.
My ultimate goal: To help make a positive change in people’s lives, who need a little push in the direction of leading a healthy lifestyle.

My one page note! My little helper:)
Small consistent changes to eating healthier and living an active lifestyle is what I did to get the results that I wanted. And, I am still doing it. I’ve been doing this for almost 15 years now. I still motivate myself and do lots of self talk. It has led me to live a healthier and happier life for me, my family and my friends.
People ask me if I can help them. But I don’t have any certification. I do, however, know how I did it! My little note certainly helped. I would love to help others, I’m thinking of getting certification in Personal Training so that I can help others. In the meantime, I still wanted to share my little photo-note in this post:)
I am regularly reading and learning from different websites. I educate myself and filter information to fit my body and my given genes. I fight and beat a few bad genes on a daily basis; but the rest I accept, and continue to move forward. I, recently, read a good article on fighting bad genes titled, “6 Ways to Beat Your Bad Genes.” You can read it on, http://www.prevention.com/fitness/fitness-tips/how-your-genes-impact-your-physical-fitness
Can’t emphasize enough – Being consistent and patient is what worked for me! Small consistent changes to eating healthier and living an active lifestyle is what I did to get the results that I wanted. And, I will continue doing it!
…thank you for visiting my blog…until next time:)
Card made by me on Pic Collage. Picture taken by me during my walk with Thomas, my beagle. Butterfly and Smiley Face stickers added for sweet special effect. Those beautiful flowers are the many thanks for you. The butterfly is me…catching those thanks and sending them your way, http://spontaneouswhimsy.com/ for nominating me for The Bloggers Award.
My heart would want a blog, but not my mind. My mind said, having a blog would mean added responsibilities. It’ll mean having to spend a lot of time with it, nurturing and molding it. That sounded like a huge commitment! But my heart loved the idea of having a blog. My heart kept talking to my mind, “let’s do it! Once we have it, we will know what to do. Let’s not plan too hard.” So, the idea to have a blog was conceived. Several months later, in April 2015, The Unstoppable Optimist was born. Parents (my heart and my mind), and the blog has survived well since birth. We learn something new everyday. We are building strength as we grow steadily. However, we need the blogging village to help us grow stronger and stronger.
If you are dying to have a blog. Then have it. Create one. Now. No need to wait. You don’t have to publish anything right away. Write that first post about someone you know best – YOU. If you are not comfortable hitting the PUBLISH button. That’s okay. Read and re-read your writing, tweak what you wrote. Also, give yourself a definite deadline – select a day, and mark your calendar to publish your first post. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A PERFECT POST. You can always go back and edit and re-post the updated version. And, take those free classes via The Daily Post, http://www.dailypost.wordpress.com.

It’s true, I did not give him a snack this afternoon. Guilty as charged! But did he tell you what happened during today’s mid morning walk? He did! Hope he told you the truth.
Here’s my side of what really happened: I had no idea what was about to happen, until it was too late – Thomas had already grabbed a full size Snicker’s Chocolate Candy Bar in his mouth. And, before I could finish screaming my words, “NO, THOMAS,” he had already inhaled the entire bar in one swallow! It all happened so fast! And, that’s the truth. (“I still love you Thomas.”)
…thank you for visiting my blog…until next time:)
Writing is like a good workout. Hard and rewarding! My workouts involve me riding on a stationary bike. When I’m riding uphill on this bike, I struggle to peddle. I find myself pushing them with all my might. I’m profusely sweating from head to toe! I feel the pain and pressure building in my legs and glutes:) It is during this struggle that good change happens to my muscles. This is the reward! I reach the top of my climb, I let go of the tension, and I start rolling downhill. I’m peddling at a high-speed with good momentum …it’s exhilarating! It’s the best release for all stress!
Writing is the same way. The pressure, tension and climb keeps building inside my head as it continues to pop ideas. Narrowing down these ideas take hard and clear focus. It’s at this point I feel that I have climbed a steep hill and made it to the top! I KNOW I made it! I’m sweating insanely in my brain:)! It’s time to pen down my thoughts. I start writing, and instantly feel the pressure and tension easing, and a good momentum building. I feel the release! I’m exhilarated that I’m able to express myself this way, with words. And, this is why I write!
I’m finished writing. It’s time to socialize and share:) Time to meet my blogger friends. This is my reward!
