Connected: Weekly Photo Challenge

image
People taking comfort in their connections!

Life is short and we must talk;

Don’t keep your emotions in a lock.

Love for each other is like a peaceful soothing song;

don’t wait for it to come because you’ll be waiting long.

Persons, animals and objects are all connected in the core, for sure;

explore these connections, it’s a source of happiness and cure;

Cure for hate, cure for unrest, cure for tears.

Our connections and our acceptance will give way to love;

Peace will prevail,

and away will fear sail.

….thanks for visiting my blog…until next time:)

Doggy Photo Shoot Day #17

Sir Thomas, known for being reserved, in a rare moment with Dixie, who loves cuddling, hugging, snuggling and playing anytime. Although, Dixie seems calm with her gaze lowered toward Thomas, I can tell that she is super shocked seeing Thomas’ paw on her. Thomas is probably asleep here and has no idea that his paw is resting on Dixie. If he was awake, he will have none of this!!

From Every Angle: Weekly Photo Challenge

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “From Every Angle.”

Beautiful couple of roses!  They look beautiful from every angle!  They have been with me a while now.  I can’t remember the occasion now.  More than likely they were for my birthday or wedding anniversary or Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.  But they have been with me for a while.

They still glow in their fresh looking pinkish orange color.  I know one thing for sure that these were given to me with love.  I feel the love!  Each petal perfectly placed and perfectly dried now.  Dried but yet giving me warm feelings every time I go past them.

They are simple and elegant.  They have no life now, but they continue to emit beauty.    When my life ends, it’ll be like these dried roses…still beautiful, emitting beautiful memories for the living!

Creepy: Weekly Photo Challenge

239

What could be creepy?  Gosh, many things –  Anything that crawls, anything that’s slimy, anything that can eat me up, and anything that can stomp me. 🙂  But hair!  Well, this hair, in this photo, looks creepy to me.  It’s like it’s growing tentacles to grab that poor colorful dragonfly and those pretty butterflies.  Fly away sweet things before you are entangled and your wings are broken.  Fly away fast.

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Creepy.”

One Earth, One Us … A simple thought.

IMG_20150731_205354_kindlephoto-15766891

One you, one me, one us on this one Earth!

The Creator crafted you and me with only surface deep differences.  Totally intentional and not a mistake.   That’s what I believe.

Religion, origin, nationality, culture, clothing, language, food.  Tall, short, thin, fat, skin color, facial features, ways of walking, talking, laughing and crying.  In those I differ from you.  I surely walk on my own life path, but not without crossing yours.  That’s how we meet.  You are different from me, but I notice that we are also the same.

I peek inside you, and me, and find oneness.  Warm blood that flows inside of me is the same blood that rushes inside of you.  It’s crystal clear to me that one we are!  All emotions I feel, you feel them too – Pain I bear, love I share.  Let’s respect and let’s care.

Our differences teach me tolerance, patience, and kindness toward you, and toward me.  Our differences teach me to learn about you, and to learn about me.  Our differences guide me to listen better, help better, and accept better.  Our differences nudge me to explore ways to show you my love.  Our differences help me to love me.  It is in this state of teaching, learning, exploring, and loving that I feel the oneness between us and appreciate our differences.

One you!  One me!  But one us. Feeling the same emotions! Flowing of the same blood! Breathing the same air!  Looking at the same sky! Sharing the same Earth!  One you, one me,  ONE US!  I insist!

…thank you for visiting my blog…see you surely, next time…
